The annual ATA Awards Banquet has held last night at Chenal Country Club. The Men’s 4.0 team to include Paul Chamoun, Micah Fannin, Chris Dussourd, Jeff Darling, Phillip Langley, and Matthew Foster was recognized for their win at Southerns and 2nd place win at Nationals. Mario Martinez was awarded the Herschel Friday Award in recognition for ability, excellence in junior tennis and achievements in sportsmanship, character, and citizenship.

The next CATA meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 11th from 6-8pm. It will be held at the Hendrix WAC located on the 2nd floor.
Seeking 16 guys committed to play 9pm Thursday nights at the Mabee Center indoor courts beginning in February for 8 weeks. If Tuesday nights work better for you than Thursday nights, or if you’re a 3.5 and want to play, let Pete know. If you cannot make all 8 sessions, you can find someone else who also cannot make all 8 sessions. One of you has to be there or arrange for a sub. If interested in this great opportunity or if you have further questions, please contact Pete Tanguay.
There’s a new junior program starting up the first week of February for 8 weeks at the Mabee Center indoor courts. It is designed for juniors age 12+ (younger if they can hang with the older kids). There will be a total of 20 kids per morning with one court for drills and 3 courts for matchplay. Times are from 5:45am to 7:15am on Wednesdays and Fridays.
